Terms of Service

The rules for using Newrise: trial, subscription, cancellation and withdrawal.

Last updated 27 October 2026

1. Who we are

Newrise is provided by Ordinem Group ApS, CVR 44358212, Karl Bjarnhofs Vej 13, 7120 Vejle Øst, Denmark. Contact: hej@newrise.dk. Contact person: Kenneth Melvej.

2. The agreement

These terms apply when you create a Newrise account, start a trial or take out a subscription. By creating an account you accept the terms and the privacy policy. Newrise is a desk for contacts, deals, projects, tasks, notes and time. Pastinak is a separate bookkeeping product. Newrise can connect to Pastinak if you already have Pastinak. Bundles that include Pastinak are sold only when they are open for purchase.

3. Accounts and plans

Solo is for one person. Team is for several users, at least two, and is billed per user. You can invite colleagues and share contacts, notes, deals, projects and tasks. The account owner is responsible for the users and for payment.

4. Trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no payment card. You can use Newrise during the trial. When the trial ends, the desk pauses and we do not charge you. Your data is not deleted because the trial ended. Choose a paid plan and the desk opens again.

5. Subscription, prices and VAT

The subscription is Solo or Team and can be paid monthly or yearly. Current prices are on the pricing page before you pay. Prices are shown excluding VAT where that is relevant. VAT is calculated at checkout from your country and the details you give, including a VAT number if you have one. EU customers without a valid VAT number pay VAT under the rules applied at checkout. Customers outside the EU are not charged EU VAT as a starting point. The final price, currency and VAT are shown before you confirm payment.

Currency follows your country: businesses in Denmark pay in DKK, in the United States in USD, everyone else in EUR, unless checkout shows otherwise.

6. Payment and renewal

Payment is taken by our payment processor at checkout. The subscription renews automatically for the chosen period until you cancel. Yearly payment is charged for a year at a time. Invoices and payment details are available in the customer portal.

7. Cancellation

The account owner can cancel in the customer portal under Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You keep access until then. We do not refund periods already paid, unless the right of withdrawal or mandatory law gives you a refund.

8. Right of withdrawal for consumers

If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Danish and EU law. The period usually starts on the day the paid contract is made. The free trial has no charge. If you withdraw during the trial, it costs nothing, and you can close the account without choosing a plan.

Newrise is a digital service supplied on an ongoing basis. If you as a consumer ask for the service to start at once, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully supplied, the right may lapse for what has already been supplied. During a free trial there is nothing to refund. If the paid period starts after the trial, the withdrawal period runs from the paid contract, unless you gave the consent described above.

To withdraw, write to hej@newrise.dk with the account email before the deadline. We will confirm and refund what you are owed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the notice.

If you act as a business, the right of withdrawal does not apply. Team subscriptions are business agreements as a starting point.

9. Customers in and outside the EU

Newrise can be used by customers in and outside the EU. The agreement is governed by Danish law. EU consumers keep the mandatory rights they have in their country of residence. Disputes that cannot be resolved may be brought before the Danish courts, unless mandatory consumer law lets you sue where you live.

10. Your responsibilities

  • You may only use Newrise lawfully and for your own work.
  • You are responsible for what you put in: contacts, notes, files, tasks and messages.
  • You must not abuse the service, try to gain unauthorised access or harm other users.
  • The account owner must ensure the users have a right to process the personal data you enter.

11. Operations, changes and termination

We aim for a stable service but cannot promise uninterrupted uptime. We may change features when that is reasonable. We will give advance notice of material changes to these terms when we can. If you continue after the notice, you accept the change. We may close an account for breach, abuse or where we are required to.

12. Liability

Newrise is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data, to the extent the law allows. Our total liability for a paid period is limited to the amount you paid us for the period the claim concerns. The cap does not apply to intent, gross negligence or where the law forbids it. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

13. Personal data and processing

We process personal data as described in the privacy policy. For Team and other business customers, where you are the controller and we process data on your behalf, the data processing agreement applies. It forms part of the agreement for those customers.

14. Governing law

The agreement is governed by Danish law, subject to mandatory consumer rules. These terms are written in Danish and English. For Danish consumers the Danish text prevails if the two differ.
