What we process, why, and where it is hosted.

Last updated 27 October 2026

1. Controller

Ordinem Group ApS, CVR 44358212, Karl Bjarnhofs Vej 13, 7120 Vejle Øst, Denmark is the controller for the personal data we process about you as a Newrise user and as a visitor to newrise.dk. Contact: hej@newrise.dk. Contact person: Kenneth Melvej.

When you as a business enter your customers' and colleagues' data in Newrise, you are the controller for that data as a starting point. We are the processor. That is set out in the data processing agreement.

2. What we process

  • Account: name, email, password (stored as a hash), country, company name and the plan you choose.
  • Use: contacts, companies, deals, projects, tasks, notes, time and the file references you add.
  • Payment: what the payment processor needs for the subscription, VAT and invoices. We do not store card numbers on our own systems.
  • Technical data: IP address, language, currency preference and logs needed to run the service safely.
  • Messages you send us, and consent to email tips if you said yes.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Creating and running your account and providing Newrise (contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Taking payment, calculating VAT and meeting bookkeeping and tax rules ((b) and (c)).
  • Keeping the service secure and preventing abuse ((f)).
  • Sending tips and news if you consented ((a)). You can withdraw consent with one click in any email.
  • Replying when you write to us ((b) or (f)).

4. Where data is hosted

Newrise data is hosted in the EU. Today it is stored in Germany. We do not transfer your account content outside the EU/EEA as part of ordinary operations.

5. Who we share with

We use sub-processors to run Newrise. They only receive what they need and are bound by contract. On the public site we list them by function:

  • Payment processor (subscription, VAT at checkout, customer portal).
  • Email delivery provider (confirmation, password reset, invites and the mail you opted into).
  • Hosting provider in the EU (running Newrise).

If you connect Pastinak, the data you choose to send (for example unbilled hours) goes to Pastinak on your instruction. Pastinak has its own terms.

6. How long we keep data

We keep account data while the account is active, and then for as long as we need to close the contract, handle claims and meet bookkeeping rules. A paused account is not deleted just because the trial ended. You can ask for deletion. We may have to keep legally required accounting records longer.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, to the extent the GDPR gives those rights. You may complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish data protection authority, or to your local authority if you live in another EU country. Write to hej@newrise.dk to use a right.

8. Cookies

We use necessary cookies and a few preference cookies. See the cookie policy.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when the processing changes. The current version is on this page with the date at the top.
