How we run it ourselves
A team of three on the Team bundle pays €44 a month (3 × €13 + €5). Bought separately: €50 (3 × €13 + €11 for Pastinak Unlimited).
Businesses in Denmark pay in DKK, in the United States in USD, everyone else in EUR. All prices excl. VAT.
The trial
What happens when the 14 days are up?
Not much, honestly. That's rather the point.
You try all of it.
14 days, every feature, no card.
Pick a plan during the trial
and billing only starts once the 14 days are up. Deciding early doesn't cost you any days.
Do nothing
and your desk goes on pause. Nothing is charged. We never asked for a card.
Your data isn't deleted
when the trial ends. Pick a plan and the desk opens again, exactly as you left it.
Your subscription
No small print. This is all of it.
More people, or fewer.
When you start Team, you choose how many people you're paying for: at least 2, and at least as many as are already on the account. When someone joins or leaves, the owner changes the number under Settings → Billing → Manage billing. The change is prorated.
Cancelling.
Cancel any time in the same place. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for, then stops.
Receipts.
The owner finds every invoice there and can change the payment card under Manage billing.
Who can do this?
Only the account owner can change billing.

Do I need a card to try it?
No. You get 14 days free, no card needed.
Do prices include VAT?
No. All prices are excl. VAT.
What's the difference between Solo and Team?
Solo is for one person. Team is for several, minimum 2 users: you invite colleagues and share contacts, notes, deals, projects and tasks. Team is priced per user. If there's more than one person on the account, it's Team.
What does paying yearly cost?
Solo is €11 a month and Team is €13 per user a month, billed once a year: €132 for Solo, €156 per user for Team.
Can we add or remove people later?
Yes. The owner changes the number of users under Manage billing, and the change is prorated. Team is a minimum of 2 users.
How do we cancel?
Under Settings → Billing → Manage billing. Your subscription runs to the end of the paid period.
What happens after the trial?
Your desk goes on pause and nothing is charged. Your data isn't deleted when the trial ends. Pick a plan and it opens again.
Do I need Pastinak?
No. Newrise works perfectly well on its own. Pastinak is optional bookkeeping that connects to Newrise.
Do tracked hours become invoice lines?
Yes, with Pastinak. From a project you send the unbilled hours to Pastinak as invoice lines, and they're marked as invoiced.
What does Pastinak cost on its own?
Pastinak has a free plan for 1 user and up to 5 invoices a month. Pastinak Unlimited is €13 a month, or €11 a month billed yearly. It's sold by Pastinak. The bundles are sold by us.
Do we pay in kroner, euros or dollars?
Businesses in Denmark pay in DKK, businesses in the United States in USD, everyone else in EUR. Checkout uses the company's country.
Where is our data stored?
In Germany.
